Nashville, TN – MARCH 25, 2025 – The American Diabetes Association® (ADA) has named Chuck Abbott, president & CEO of Gray Line Tennessee, as the event chair for the 2025 State of Diabetes in Tennessee. This event, set to take place in November, will bring together health care professionals, employers, and community leaders to address the growing diabetes epidemic in Tennessee.
As event chair, Abbott will play a key role in advancing the mission of the ADA, raising awareness about diabetes prevention and management, and fostering collaborations that drive meaningful change. With Tennessee ranking among the highest in the nation for diabetes prevalence, the event will focus on the ADA’s latest recommendations, which include nutrition guidance, physical activity strategies, and emotional health screenings to improve diabetes outcomes.

Diabetes affects so many families across Tennessee, and I am dedicated to working with the ADA to raise awareness, promote healthier lifestyles and drive actionable change.”
The 2025 State of Diabetes in Tennessee will feature a comprehensive panel discussion led by distinguished experts, offering valuable insights into obesity and diabetes. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect, share insights and foster collaborations during a networking session, all aimed at advancing diabetes care, management and prevention across the state.”

His dedication to community engagement and leadership in corporate social responsibility make him the perfect advocate for this important initiative.
