Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

The Gray Line Tennessee Fleet Maintenance Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Fleet Services and performs a critical role in the overall success of the Company by maximizing vehicle in-service availability.  The Supervisor is responsible for all day-to-day activities related to the maintenance and repair of the company’s revenue fleet, which includes motorcoaches, minicoaches, school buses, trolleys and black car (sedans, SUV’s and Sprinters/Transits).

We look for individuals with:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years supervisor experience.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Two years of experience in shop setting with knowledge of diesel and fuel engines, ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs, and operate equipment and tools involved in vehicle repair.
  • Working knowledge of computers and basic data entry skills required.
  • Familiarity with Distinctive Vehicle Management System (VMS) or similar is a plus.
  • Commercial Drivers License with “P” or “S” endorsements a plus.
Charter Driver

As a charter driver, you will be providing safe and reliable transportation to different locations, sometimes with an overnight responsibility.

We look for individuals with:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CDL with a passenger endorsement preferred (CDL Training Class available).
  • Ability to work weekdays and weekends.
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with coworkers, the general public, law enforcement, and emergency personnel.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

  • Full-Time and Part-Time available
  • Variable Hours and weekend Work
RTA Driver

An RTA driver is the first face many people see in the morning on their way to work. You will drive from the outlying cities bringing workers into Nashville. RTA drivers provide the highest quality of service to the commuting customers and communities.

We look for individuals with:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A good driving record and valid CDL License (Paid CDL Training Offered)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Clear speech and listening skills
  • Ability to apply proper driving procedures
  • Ability to learn transit routes and schedules and adapt to changes; ability to read a map
  • Must be at least 25 years of age
  • Works well in a team environment essential.
School Bus Driver

We look for individuals with:

  • Must be at least 25 years old.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Tour Guide

Are you one of the many who live and breathe Music City? Come join our team of friendly faces who love to show off Nashville and give guests a deeper understanding of Middle Tennessee!

We look for individuals with:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Insights about all new restaurants and hot spots
  • Ability to memorize and recite facts clearly and accurately
  • Ability to provide safe and personable sightseeing experiences

The schedule:

  • Full-time
  • 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday with rotating weekends.
  • Weekend/Holidays available
  • Additional hours may be required for peak seasons
Maintenance Positions

We are looking for Cleaning Crew, Mechanics, General Technicians and Maintenance Supervisors. You will be responsible for the mechanical repairs for our fleet of vehicles. Our fleet is primarily the Ford e-series chassis. We also include F-Series and Cummins. Gray Line also has a large fleet of 80+ School Buses.

We look for individuals with:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two-years’ experience
  • Knowledge of diesel and fuel engines
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs
  • Experience operating equipment and tools involved in vehicle repair
