See the Historic Side of Tennessee & Nashville

Southern plantations, Presidential Estates, and Nashville and Civil War history will all be a part of your day.

Belle Meade Plantation

Belle Meade Plantation began with a log cabin and 250 acres and grew into a beautiful Greek Revival Mansion with over 5,400 acres. As the nation’s leading thoroughbred horse farm, and the epicenter of society and social events in Nashville, it is in that grand tradition that we welcome you today!  After a guided tour of the Mansion, enjoy a wine tasting in our Winery reminiscent of Belle Meade’s legendary hospitality. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore our beautiful Grounds, Gift Shops loved by the locals, and sample Ice Cream and our Home Made Fudge.

The Hermitage

Your next visit will be the stately manor of Andrew Jackson, The Hermitage. This was the home of our seventh President, and a favorite son of Tennessee. You’ll view the formal gardens, visit the slave quarters, the original 1804 cabin of the estate, and the site where our President and his wife were laid to rest.

Lunch is on your own at Hermitage House Smorgasbord. Enjoy a full Southern-style buffet, including dessert, beverage, and tax. The cost is $12 for adults, $7.50 for children ages 6-11, and $4.50 for children ages 1-5. This special pricing is for Gray Line Tours guests only.
