Customers should note that while there are a variety of amenities and options for motorcoach services, passenger safety is our top priority and can never be taken for granted.  Some important indicators to consider when selecting a motorcoach operator are:

A commitment to safety and passenger service;

Authority to operate, as indicated by a U.S. DOT and the MCC number on the side of bus;

Liability insurance coverage; $5 million is the federally required minimum;

Well-trained drivers with documented procedures;

An effective maintenance program to ensure that all equipment is in proper working order; and

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration considers companies with yellow exclamation point BASIC status or an unsatisfactory safety rating to be a higher risk.
